Obituary for Willard Morse

Baileyville – Willard Morse Jr., 82, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.  Willard was born in Natick, MA on November 18, 1936, son of the late Willard and Clara (Cournoyer) Morse.

After graduating high school, Willard enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.  He worked as a Computer Network Supervisor for AT & T for over 22 years.  Willard was a Communicant of St. James the Greater R.C. Church in Baileyville.

In addition to his parents, Willard was predeceased by his first wife Yolande (Provencher) Morse; his second wife Frances (Fitzgerald) Morse; and several siblings.  Surviving are his two daughters, Deborah Morse of Central City, NE, and Rebecca Egley and husband David of Charlottesville, VA; one granddaughter, Cadence Egley; sister Barbara Brown of Merrimack, NH; dear friends and caregivers Laurie Jones and her family; and several step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Calais.  Burial will follow in Calais Cemetery with military honors.  Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais and Eastport.
