Timothy Darren Miller, 57, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Calais Community Hospital.  Timmy was born in Calais on May 2, 1965, son of Robert and Judith (Rayner) Miller.

Tim attended Woodland High School and in 1984 enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as a cargo specialist.  Following his service, he returned home and started his career as a heavy equipment operator and welder for local construction companies.  Timmy was a member of the Spednic Club and was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and snowmobiling. 

Timothy was predeceased by his father, Robert Miller Sr.; a brother Robert Miller Jr.; grandparents, Walter and Sadie Miller, and Lloyd and Ida Mae Rayner; and his faithful canine companion FeeFee.  Surviving are his mother Judith Miller of Grand Lake Stream; wife Emily Miller of Baileyville; children, Masyn Miller and companion Tori Townsend of Calais, Ashley Meeker and husband Jacob of Baileyville, Aaron Gallway and companion Alexis Thompson of Baileyville, and Andrew Gallway of Copake, NY; grandchildren, Braxtyn, Melody, Kaydence, Heath, Hunter, and Ellenor; sister Tammy Tupper and husband David of Baileyville; brother Shawn Miller and wife Avis of Princeton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rex and Maxine Nicholson of Princeton; special nephew Michael Tupper and wife Meredith of Levant and their daughters Sadie and Selia; nephew Matthew Miller of Princeton; a niece Myra Miller of Princeton; very special friends Russ and Robin of Warren, New Jersey and Ginger Ohlson of Beavercreek, Ohio; many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his feline companion Ginger “Puss-Puss”.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 in the Woodland Cemetery, Baileyville.  Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
