Tim Isaac McClintick, a man of strength, skill, and warm-heartedness, born on May 19, 1966, in Hartford, Connecticut, has left us at the age of 58, weaving a legacy of love and craftsmanship. The son of Jack and Alice (Weymouth) McClintick, Tim carried within him the spirit of the East Coast, from his roots in Connecticut to ties in southern Maine to his home in Codyville, Maine. His life was filled with the smell of cut timber and the laughter of loved ones, shaping the world around him with his hands as a master carpenter and building an enduring affection within those who knew him.
After high school, Tim's passion led him into post -and- beam construction, his hard-earned skills leaving a mark on the community with the original building for Wells Fire Dept. Yet, his heart was not just in his work, but also in the great outdoors. Tim was a man who found joy under the open sky; hunting, fishing, hiking, and skiing were his refuge from a hard days labor. His greatest pride was not in the structures he built nor the trails he conquered, but in his beloved daughter, Kim. He cherished the moments spent on their small farm, teaching Kim the joy of caring for their animals and proudly watching as she showcased her cattle through 4H.
Tim is survived by his mother, Alice McClintick, his daughter Kim McClintick and her companion Nathan Wheelock, his sister Lorraine Brais, his brother Allen McClintick, nieces and nephews Stephanie Worster, Melissa Bragg, Jason, Adam, and Michael McClintick, dear friends and family, Gordon Newell, Sue Thomah, Priscilla Muske, Michael Doherty, Marion Arnold, Arthur Hodgdon, Rusty Weymouth, Wally Weymouth and countless other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by the love of his life and mother of his child, Bobbi Jean Ham, his father, Jack McClintick, and his nephew, John McClintick.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date where we can honor Tim's memory and the lasting impact he made on us all. Arrangements are by Mays Funeral Home & Cremation Services. We invite you to share your favorite memories of Tim and upload photos to his memorial page at www.MaysFuneralHome.com, as we remember the man who built so much more than buildings; he built a life of love, dedication, and pure joy.
