Thelma MacDonald Hatt Mullen 82, of Machias, passed away Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023. Thelma was born September 17, 1940, in Eastport, Maine the daughter of the late James and Mabel (Stevens) MacDonald.

Thelma worked at Machias Savings Bank for many years until her retirement. After retirement she enjoyed going to Florida during the winter and resided in Maine in the summer.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Thomas Hatt of Machias, and James Mullen of Eastport; brothers, Raymond MacDonald of California, James MacDonald Jr. of Massachusetts, and Thomas MacDonald of Eastport; a daughter, Holly Horne of Tennessee; a stepson Chris Mullen of Waterville; a special companion Donald Johnson of East Machias; and special brother and sister in law, Ronald “Bucky” Hatt and Beth Hatt of Machias.
