Shirley A. Dwelley, born on October 11, 1936 in Alexander, Maine, passed away on February 1, 2026 at Union Village, Maine. Shirley was a woman of interests; she loved playing cribbage, often competing in tournaments at the Princeton Rod and Gun Club. She was a nature enthusiast and a seasoned bargain hunter, always on the quest for the next great find at yard sales. She had a distinctive taste in food, with a particular fondness for burnt hotdogs, and a love for country music. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her children Sharon Martell, Janis Smith, Jeffrey Jones, and her brothers Jimmy and Francis Bohannon. She is survived by her children Debra Kochendoerfer and her partner David, Kevin Jones, Carla and her husband Scott Wheelock. She is also survived by her siblings Barbara Landry, Monte Bohannon, Evelyn Corbett, Judy Fenlason, and her beloved cat, Sassy. Shirley was a cherished member of her community.
