Shawn M. Cote

Shawn Maynard Cote, 44, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Indian Township Saturday November 5, 2022. Shawn was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Albert and Anna Harnois, Godfather Dennis Tomah Sr., and his beloved pet, "Falcon". He is survived by his soul mate, Nikia Cote, His "Maa", Audrey Harnois, Father Anthony Cote and wife Debra; Sisters, Melissa Cote and her fiancé Sean, and Shauna Cataldo and her husband Matt; His children Ashely (Anthony), Calla, Jacob, Alicia, and Emmett; Grandson Benjamin: Aunt Lisa Cox and her husband Justin; Uncles William Harnois, Albert Harnois Jr. and his wife Lisa, Stanley Harnois Sr. and wife Mickie; Godchildren D and Tasja; Nephew Leeland; and godmother Victoria Boston.

Shawn had strong family values, a love of animals, and the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hiking in all seasons, spending time with his children instilling the traits he learned from his grandfather. Shawn was a talented artist in tattooing, painting, and sketching. He loved to work with his hands doing mechanic work, carpentry, welding, and possessed creativity in problem solving with these skills.

His quick and beautiful smile along with his willingness to help anyone in need will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him. He is at peace and sharing his love with loved ones previously lost.

Visitation will begin at 12:00pm on Tuesday November 8, 2022, at 646 Grand Lake Stream Rd. GLS, ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am on Thursday November 10, 2022 at St. Anne's Church in Peter Dana Point. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home Calais & Eastport.
