With deep respect and affection, we bid farewell to Scott Walton, who left us too soon on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Eastside Center for Health Rehabilitation in Bangor. Born in Caribou on January 23, 1970, to proud parents James and Carmella (Di Pasquale) Walton Jr., Scott was a man whose zest for life and love for the outdoors shaped his fifty-five years. Scott was a proud alumnus of Calais High School and held various positions throughout his life, showcasing his dedication and hard work in every role he undertook. Be it driving trucks, working at the Calais Water Treatment Plant, or serving customers at Ace Hardware in Calais, Scott embraced every opportunity and challenge with a charismatic smile and an enduring spirit. Beyond his professional life, Scott was a man of simple pleasures. He found peace in the rustling of the leaves, the calm of the open waters, and the humming sound of a lawn mower. Those who knew him best will remember his passion for fishing and his love for racing cars in his youth. His spirit was as vibrant and free as the landscapes he loved so much. Scott leaves behind his loving fiancé, Brenda Edgerly of Baileyville, his brother Shawn Walton of Calais, sister-in-law Martha Walton, and his nieces, Jessica and Amy. Scott was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Shannon Walton. A graveside service at the Calais Cemetery will be held on Friday, June 20th, at 3:00 PM.
