Sally Ann Ketchen, 70, of Meddybemps, Maine, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026, at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn, Maine, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 1, 1955, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, she was the beloved daughter of Edward and Joan (Dripps) Ketchen.
Sally was a proud graduate of Woodland High School, Class of 1974. She pursued her passion for service by attending the New Brunswick Bible Institute and Calvary Bible College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Religious Education. Her heart for helping others led her on short-term mission trips to the Philippines and Chile, and she dedicated her time to serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Northern Maine. Sally was a faithful and devoted member of the Meddybemps Community Church.
Sally's strong faith and love for Jesus guided her throughout her life and led her to find her true calling as a caregiver for the last 27 years, where her compassion and empathy shone brightly. She provided invaluable support by offering transportation, delivering essential items, and administering in-home care, touching the lives of many.
Sally is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Joan Ketchen, and her sister-in-law, Kathleen Holik. She leaves behind her cherished siblings: Diane Ketchen, Mark Ketchen, and Sue Ouellette, along with her brother-in-law, Al Ouellette. She will be deeply missed by her nieces Agata Ketchen, Catherine Whaley, Connie Erickson, and Cheryl Ouellette, and her nephew, Carl Ketchen.
