She is survived by her husband Dick Clark, her brother Robert Pierce and his wife Patricia, and their daughters and families, Lori, Lianne, and Carla. She is also survived by her son Perry Clark and his wife Lynn and their children Patrick, Nick and Nathaniel; Mike Clark and his wife Erin and their children Josh, Emily, Leah and great-granddaughter Ava; and daughter Jane Hogue and her children Bethany and Michael. She is predeceased by her father Elwell Pierce, her mother Priscilla “Timmy” Pierce, and her brother Willard Pierce.

A celebration of life for Ruth will be held tentatively on June 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Calais United Methodist Church followed by an internment.  Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais.
