Ronald Rambjor

March 16, 1959 — April 12, 2021

Ronald was born March 16, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York and left this earth on April 12, 2021.

He leaves behind his mother, Aud Lonseth Antone, his father, Magnar Rambjor, his older sister, Ailine and her husband, Theo Helms and her children, Emma and Taylor Keating; his younger sister, Karin and her husband, Alvery Lingley and their son, Nate Lingley. His younger brother, Kenneth Rambjor, predeceased Ronald almost 3 years ago, and is survived by his daughter, Trina Rambjor and her 3 children, Mya, Emy and Liam and his son, Leif Rambjor and his wife, Lisa and their children, Savanah and Nils.

Ronald lived in New York, Maine and Norway over his life. He served in the United States Air Force as an Airman from 1977-1979.

Ronald loved his family, had a heart for those who were mentally ill, for seniors and for this country and Norway, as well.
Ronald was a resident of the Veteran’s Home in Machias, Maine for 6 years where he lit up lives with his smile, his love of music and dancing. He was moved to the Veteran’s Home in Bangor, Maine in July. Ronald’s family wishes to thank all of the caretakers in both homes for their amazing service in caring for Ronald. We are eternally grateful to them.

We love you, Ronald, and will always miss you!

A funeral is planned for June 26, 2021 in Pembroke, Maine. More details will be forthcoming.

Gentle spirit leave the earth
and soar into the sky
and calm the weary, breaking hearts,
of those who sadly cry,
for though you can not touch,
your kiss is in the wind,
and gently will it heal,
all those who let you in,
so travel now,
beyond the dream,
let your spirit rest in peace
and know the love we have for you,
will never, ever cease.
