Roland Kenneth Chambers Sr., 76, passed away peacefully November 20, 2022.  Roland was born in Lewiston on April 2, 1946 to Ralph and Doris (Porter) Chambers.

In addition to his parents, Roland was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Katherine (Thornton) Chambers; and two sisters, Mavis McCullough and Edna Chambers.  Surviving are his children, Roland Chambers Jr., Missy Roussell and husband Dale, Tony Chambers and wife Helene, and Jackie Chambers; one brother Milton Chambers and wife Marion; sisters Sandra Sprague, Rose Corbett, and Brenda Woodcock and husband Peter; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Patty Wentworth and the staff at Community Health & Counseling Hospice for their kindness and compassion.  Also, to the staff at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home, Nicky, Judy, Reggie, and everyone right down to the kitchen staff.  You all became our family over the years, and you became dad’s as well.  We love you all for the numerous things you did for our dad that was never in your job description.  It never went unnoticed by us.  We love you all and thank you for everything.
