Robert A. Johnson

Robert Anthony Johnson, 62, passed away with family by his side on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. Tony was born in Baton Rouge, LA, on August 31, 1961, son of Norman John Johnson and Virginia (Steen) Ching. 

Tony enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in Communications. Following his service, he was able to travel extensively throughout the United States. Tony was gifted with his hands and enjoyed fixing things, rebuilding motorcycles, and putting together intricate ship models, especially Clipper Ships.

Tony was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Ching. Surviving are his father, Norman John Johnson of Canton, TX; four sisters, Judith Collelo and husband Mark of Plainfield, CT, Patricia Johnson of Seattle, WA, Josie Ryan of Greenwood, SC, and Tracey Johnson of Kansas City, KS; and his niece, Jessica Kern of Norwich, CT.

 A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date in Bayside Cemetery, Eastport, Maine. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home.
