Rhonda Jean McIver, 71, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at her home in Bradley.  Rhonda was born in Lincoln on September 30, 1951, daughter of John and Betty Jean (Carroll) Sylvia. 

Rhonda graduated from East Grand High School, Class of 1969, and on February 27, 1971, she married Larry McIver.  From a young age Rhonda loved horses.  Eventually she was able to fulfill her dream and get her own horses.  She found going for rides was therapeutic and enjoyed sharing this with others by giving horse riding lessons.  Rhonda was an amateur photographer who had a gift for detail and creativity.  She enjoyed traveling, sewing and quilting, and recently jigsaw puzzles.  Family was most important to Rhonda and in 2021 she was completely devastated with the loss of her husband, daughter, and grandson. 

In addition to her parents John and Betty Sylvia, Rhonda was predeceased by her husband Larry in October, 2021; daughter Kelly McIver in April, 2021; and grandson William McIver in January, 2021.  Surviving are her two grandchildren, Haley James and companion Jacob, and Lilyann Quigley; great-granddaughter, Aurora; sister Dixie Sides and husband Kirk of Sherman; many nieces and nephews including special niece Kirby Sides and companion Brandon of Medway, and special nephew Kyle Sides and companion Lacaylea of Millinocket; a special sister-in-law and friend Marilyn McIver of Back Bay, NB; brothers-in-law and families; numerous special friends; and her canine companions Winter and Stormy.
