Woodland – Raymond C. Farrar Sr., 66, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2016 at a Bangor Hospital. He was born on August 24, 1950 to Chester and Elvira (Harriman) Farrar in Calais.

He grew up in Woodland where he attended school and lived all his life. Raymond was a family man, he loved telling stories and passing down life lessons to his son and grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandson, Ryan C. Farrar; and a lifelong special friend, Joanne Harvey.

He will be forever remembered by his mother, Elvira Farrar; son, Raymond “Red” Farrar and his wife Michelle of Gorham; five grandchildren, Michael Scott and his wife Samantha, Brittany Farrar, Timmy Farrar, Meghan Farrar and Nathanael Smith; a great granddaughter, Kaelyn Scott and many friends.

A graveside service will be held at Calais Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
