Lewiston – Phyllis B. Hachey, 85, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Phyllis was born in Baring, January 13, 1922, daughter of the late Horace and Hazel (Howland) Polleys. She graduated from Calais Academy, Class of 1939. Until her retirement, Phyllis was employed as a bank teller with Mechanic Savings Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered for her caring nature. Besides her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, George Hachey; a son, Robert Rushton; a sister, Lydia Brooker; and three brothers, Steve, John and Albert Polleys. Surviving are a son, William Hachey of Lewiston; a daughter-in-law, Donna Rushton of MS; two grandchildren, Robbie and Beth; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Baring Cemetery in Baring. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
