Peggy Helen (Stevenson) Williams, 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 1st at 12:55AM, at the Calais Community Hospital in Calais Maine. Peggy was born in Portland Maine on Saturday, March 20th, 1954, Daughter of Alfred and Ruth (Savage) Stevenson.

Peggy graduated from Shead Memorial High school in 1972 and later would work at The Holly in Lewiston Maine, The Woolen Mill and The Waco Diner in Eastport. She made many life-long friends through her life and was always more than happy to help them however she could. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, and watching horror movies.

Peggy was predeceased by her Parents, Alfred and Ruth Stevenson. Her surviving family includes her brothers, Larry and Ronny Stevenson and their families; her Husband Michael Williams Sr; her son Ethan Catlin-Williams; her stepdaughter Crystal Young; her granddaughter Willow Young; her grandson Ashton Young; her stepson Michael Williams Jr; and so many friends.

The family sends out a heartfelt thank you to all of Peggy’s friends, and to the staff at Calais Community Hospital for taking excellent care of her in the last week of her life. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

There will be no formal service, but a gathering will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
