Pearl Katherine Boardman

Calais – Pearl Katherine Boardman, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Eastport Memorial Nursing Home. Pearl was born in Calais on March 28, 1937, daughter of Sidney and Gladys (Grant) Dinsmore.
Pearl graduated from Calais Memorial High School, Class of 1955. On April 18, 1966, she married William F. Boardman. Pearl was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Orion Chapter #45 O.E.S. where she served as Worthy Matron in 1965, and enjoyed going to the movies and attending Eastern Star meetings.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was predeceased by her husband William Boardman; a brother Donald Dinsmore; niece Barbara Dinsmore; and a nephew Emerson S. Dinsmore. Surviving are her brother Emerson W. Dinsmore of Auburn; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Pam DelMonaco and husband Nick of Calais.
The family and friends of Pearl wish to thank the staff at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home for going above and beyond in their loving care to Pearl.
In keeping with Pearl’s wishes, a private burial will take place in the Calais Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
