Obituary for Pauline Mae Tracy

Calais – Pauline Mae Tracy, 90, died Thursday, June 01, 2006 at a Calais hospital. Pauline was born in Calais February 28, 1916, daughter of the late Harry and Hattie (Greenlaw) Porter. She retired from Ware Knitters as a stitcher. Pauline was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #3 in Calais, the V.F.W., and enjoyed reading, watching television, and cooking. She was predeceased by a brother and four sisters. Surviving are her four children, Joyce Hammerl and husband John of Rochester, NY, Shirley Ozut and husband Luke of East Hartfort, CT, Norman Brownlee of East Hartford, CT, and Terry Brownlee and wife Peggy of Calais; a brother, Howard Porter and wife Mary of Calais; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, June 8, at Calais Cemetery with Pastor Bob Hinton officiating
