Calais - It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia (Smith) Townsend, beloved wife of Eugene “Gene” Townsend announce her passing at the Down East Community Hospital in Machias, Maine on Friday June 3, 2022.
Patricia was born in St. Stephen, NB, daughter of the late Philip and Gladys Smith.
In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia is predeceased by her brothers Donald and Alan.
Patricia led a very full and active life. Pat and Gene enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and boating. A gardening enthusiast she loved to create a warm and inviting home environment for all to enjoy.
She will be greatly missed by family, friends and acquaintances.
At her request there will be a private graveside service at Calais Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
