Myrna Maxine Moore

Princeton and Mattawamkeag – Myrna M. Moore (also known as Merna M. Moore), passed away on July 16, 2022 at her home in Princeton. Myrna was born in Lincoln, ME on September 4, 1931 at her grandparents home, to Vernon Frederick Murdock and Marion Fleda (Lancaster) Murdock. She was predeceased by her husband Guy M. Moore after 63+ years. Also predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Frederick, Perley and Paul; a sister Pauline Fogg; and a brother-in-law Ray Moore.

She is survived by two daughters, Rae Lynn Moore and Don of Greenville, and Janet Knights and Gary of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Michael Hall of Corinth, Katrina McArthur and David of Bangor, and Laurel Thornton of Princeton who she lived with; six great-grandchildren, Joshua and Meesha Norrish, Robbie Norris, and Samantha, Dylan and Rebecca Whirty, Jarryd Whirty, Bethanie (Hall) Norris and Jacob, and Katelyn Hall; nine great-great grandchildren, Larrea, Mya, Donali, Connor, Jaclyn, Abigail, Xavier, Bryce and Brooklyn; sister-in-law Carolyn Moore; and nieces and nephews.

It is Myrna’s wish to be cremated and to be buried with her beloved Guy in the Mattawamkeag Cemetery. A special thanks goes to hospice and their beautiful loving staff that went above and beyond in the care of Myrna. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
