It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our father shortly after celebrating his 88th birthday.

Dad was a pastor, a man of deep faith, and someone who truly loved people. He spent much of his life in Maine and Florida, making friends everywhere he went. If you knew him, you knew his kindness, his conversations, his sense of humor, and the way he made everyone feel welcome.

He is now reunited with our beautiful mother, Brenda Young who passed in 2014.

He leaves behind his children Stephanie Young, Scott Young, Danielle McDonough, and David Young, along with many grandchildren, family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Woodland Christian Fellowship, 2018 South Princeton Road, Baileyville, ME, with Pastor Randy French officiating.

We are heartbroken, but grateful for the love, faith, and memories he gave all of us through the years. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
