Alexander – Mary Cecilia Casey, 71, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2020 at Downeast Community Hospital after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Mary was born September 8, 1949 to James and Mary (Bernardini) Casey. She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic grade school, graduated from Calais Memorial High School in 1967 and completed business school before joining the family business, Boston Shoe Store where she worked for many years. On December 5, 1991 Mary married David E. Davis in Calais.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, David Davis; sisters, Frances Holst and her husband Roger of Alexander, Margaret Feaster of TX, and Barbara Savoy and her husband Art of Augusta as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her three brothers, Leo, John, and Michael and two sisters Theresa and Norma.

Mary’s family would like to thank the staff at Marshall’s Health Care Facility in Machias for their wonder care and support over the last couple of years. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Kevin J. Martin at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 26th at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Calais. Committal will follow at Alexander Cemetery. All are welcome, Mass can also be viewed at the Church’s Facebook page by livestream. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
