Marjorie C. Wallace

Marjorie Carol Wallace, 81, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Calais Community Hospital surrounded by family.  Marjorie was born in Calais on June 12, 1941, daughter of Delamere Small and Virginia (Haynes) Small Allen.

Marjorie graduated from Woodland High School, Class of 1959.  In October of 1961, she married her high school sweetheart, Lynn Wallace.  Marjorie and Lynn lived on a blueberry farm and she enjoyed riding in the truck with her husband when he delivered the blueberries.  In her younger days, Marjorie was a member of the Rainbow Girls.  She was also a member of the People’s United Methodist Church in Baileyville, and enjoyed knitting, crafts, and quilting. 

Marjorie was predeceased by her father, Delamere Small; mother Virginia Small Allen and her husband Herbert Allen; brothers-in-law, Fred Wallace and Bob Olsson; and sister-in-law Norma Wallace.  Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Lynn Wallace; son Randy Wallace and wife Susan of Crawford; two grandsons, Travis Wallace and wife Marissa of Dedham, and Christopher Wallace and wife Chelsea of Calais; great-grandson Luke Wallace; two sisters, Debbie McBride and husband Greg of TN, and Karen Toothaker of TN; three brothers, Gary Small and wife Susan of Charlotte, Bobby Small and wife Joanne of WA, and Pete Small of WA; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Olsson of Baring, and Linda Wallace of Crawford; brother-in-law Coburn Wallace of Crawford; and many nieces and nephews.
