Obituary

Louise Gail “Weezie” Howland, 62, passed away with family by her side on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Calais Community Hospital.  Weezie was born in St. Stephen, NB on March 20, 1960, daughter of Ronald Howland Sr. and Joyce (Eales) Howland.

Weezie lived in Vanceboro her entire life.  She was a determined special lady who had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed teasing others.  Weezie was known for her kindness, generosity and being concerned for others.  She enjoyed collecting everything including her stuffed animals that she cared for as her babies and her puppets like Mr. Frog.  Weezie loved watching TV and cartoons, especially Scooby-Doo.  She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

In addition to her parents, Weezie was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Howland Jr.  Surviving are three sisters, Frannie Scott of McAdam, NB, Barbie Mason of McAdam, NB, and Connie Featherson and husband Wayne of Machias; a brother Yogi Howland and wife Margaret of Vanceboro; special friend Linda Gaines of McAdam, NB; many special nieces, nephews and cousins; and her favorite “ruff-ruff”, Patches.
