Baileyville, ME – Louis James Lucas Jr, 35, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 29, 2020. Louis was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on June 21, 1985, son of Louis J. Lucas Sr. and Beth A. (Stine) Hillman.
After attending school in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Louis eventually moved to Maine where he worked as a carpenter, and most recently was employed as a lobsterman. Louis was very sociable, and loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Louis was predeceased by his father Louis Lucas Sr.; and his brother Jack Lucas. Surviving are his three children, Caleb, Alexander and Adilynn; his mother Beth Hillman and husband Richard of Baileyville, ME; maternal grandparents, Paula and George Stine of Washington, NJ; paternal grandmother Caroline Reed of Easton, PA; paternal grandfather Hugh Lucas Jr. and wife Sandra of Tobyhanna, PA; two sisters, LeeAnne Hamilton of Levant, ME, and Renee Bisanti of Phillipsburg, NJ; nieces and nephews, Heaven, Jada, Miguel, Max, Emily and Bella; aunts and uncles, Glenn and Jennifer Stine of Bangor, PA, Dan and Julie Lucas of Bangor, PA, Hugh and Mariah Lucas of Tobyhanna, PA, Kathleen and Jim Herring of Easton, PA, Lisa Lucas of Allentown, PA, and Laura Lucas of Jersey Shore, NJ; and numerous cousins.
A celebration of Louis’ life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
