Kimberly Alice Neptune

October 4, 1978 — April 21, 2022

Pleasant Point - Kimberly (Kim) Alice Neptune, beloved daughter and sister, 43, of Pleasant Point, Maine passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Kim was born in Calais, Maine on October 4, 1978 daughter of Gloria Lewey-Cleaves, step-dad Frank Cleaves and of late Samuel Neptune Sr.

Kim graduated from Calais High School, Class of 1997 and attended the University of Maine at Orono. Her favorite past time was working as a seasonal worker in Bar Harbor, Maine as a housekeeper. In addition to her seasonal work, Kim looked forward to yearly fishing/dipping for elvers, wrinkling and also worked at Whitney Wreath all of which required dedication, commitment and hard physical labor and did so without complaint. We often called her our turtle where she did everything with grace and time was not a factor to her. Kim’s proudest moment is when she was able to purchase her own ATV, which she took pride in the care and maintenance, to take her to and from her destinations with her buckets strapped to the back seat. She was always available to help in the time of need for our Sipayik Tribal Government. Kim’s passion and most cherished moments was spending time with her brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Kim was also known for her big heart and gentle soul and her willingness to help out anyone she knew showed her love and compassion for others. She touched so many lives with her kindness, caring personality, generosity and her beautiful smile.

Kim was predeceased recently by her father, Samuel J. Neptune Sr, Aunt Arlene Wiggins, Great-Grandmother Alice Francis, Grandparents Irene and Sabattus Lewey Sr., cousin Chris Francis and Abigail Francis, Uncles Robert, Richard, Carleton and George Lewey.

Surviving are her mother Gloria Lewey-Cleaves, Step-Dad Frank Cleaves of Pleasant Point; brother Samuel Neptune Jr. and partner Theresa, niece Kira Wipon, nephews Louie and Henri of Pleasant Point; sister Kelsey Lewey and partner Ashton, niece Melody Sky of Pleasant Point; sister Courtney Newell and niece Naiya of Freeport, Maine; sister Samantha Robb and partner Joshua, niece Lyla, nephew Bryce of Connecticut; Grandparents Genevieve and Roy Neptune Sr. of Pleasant Point; many special Aunts, Uncles and cousins whom she all loved deeply; Godparents, Pearl Pulk and Ray Moore Jr.

Kim, sadly, will be missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. She was truly an exceptional beautiful woman inside and out. Our hearts are heavy and her beautiful soul has been lifted to the spirit world to be with her dad. Until we meet again~Koselomol!

Visitation will take place at the Sipayik Elder Meal site beginning 2 pm on Wednesday April 27 until 12 noon on Friday, April 29, 2022. A Burial will follow at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home Calais and Eastport.
