Kevin P. PeterPaul

Presque Isle – Kevin Patrick PeterPaul, 45, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle surrounded by family.  Kevin was born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB, on October 23, 1977, son of Fred PeterPaul and Eleanor (Lewey) Stevens.

Kevin was a loving and caring father who treasured his three children and family.  He loved people and brought a strong and positive energy to every encounter he had.  Kevin was fun, and loved to joke and laugh.  He was strong and always there, and more than willing, to help.  Kevin spent days and hours at Side Pistol Lake building the family’s camp.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially four-wheeling with his children.  Kevin was an avid Patriot’s fan and collected Patriots Merchandise. 

Kevin died after a courageous struggle with cancer.  He fought like a warrior and taught all of us how to live with joy and grace and to bravely face adversity.  Throughout his illness, Kevin focused on the needs of others.  The family will be forever grateful for the love and care that his fiancé Christina gave to him daily.  His time with his family was greatly extended because of her dedication.  Kevin was deeply loved and is so very missed. 

Kevin was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Margaret PeterPaul, and Athion and Mary Lewey; stepmother Louise PeterPaul; and the mother of his children Rhonda Sabattus.  Surviving are his parents, Fred PeterPaul, and Eleanor Stevens and husband Kevin; fiancé Christina Campbell; his children, Geneve, Kevin Sabattus, and Nipon and her companion Chris; siblings Susan Hinkel and husband Charles, Fredrick PeterPaul and wife Donna, Jason PeterPaul, Nicholas PeterPaul and friend Christy, Melissa Scott, Maria Pound, and Amanda Francis and husband Derrik; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; many nieces and nephews including Matthew, Preston, Joseph, Emily, Ian, Evan, Taylor, and Evelyn; and his loving cat Puma.

Visitation will begin 10 a.m. Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his mother’s house, 369 Peter Dana Point Rd., Peter Dana Point, until 12 noon Tuesday, March 28.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Brad Morin 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at St. Ann Church, Peter Dana Point.  Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
