With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth David MacIntosh, lovingly known to many as "Kenny Mac," on January 21, 2025. He was 71 years old.
Kenny was a man of immense kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community. Born on August 30, 1953, he lived a life filled with love and service. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra MacIntosh, and his cherished children: Allison Nunn, Alan MacIntosh, Jennifer Ansell, Melissa Conforti, and Jane Philbrick. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, David Ansell, Cameron Ansell, Greyson Conforti, and Ainsley Bryer. He is also survived by his dear brother, Richard MacIntosh, his wife, Ellen MacIntosh, and their children, Joseph, Timothy, and John MacIntosh.
Kenny's impact was felt far and wide. Whether he was playing Santa Claus to bring joy to children, cooking meals for the VFW, or lending a helping hand to local organizations and events, he was always there—giving, caring, and making the world a little brighter. Even in his final weeks, as he fought a courageous battle with cancer, his selflessness never wavered. Despite his own struggles, he made sure the local Coast Guard station received a warm meal on Christmas, embodying the true spirit of giving.
In recent years, Kenny made his home in Eastport, Maine, close to Nova Scotia, where much of his family's roots lay. There, he continued to do what he loved most—connecting with people, sharing meals, and making a difference in the lives of those around him.
A Mass and celebration of Kenny's incredible life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Milford, MA, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are welcome to come together, share stories, and honor the memory of a man who gave so much to so many.
Though he may no longer be with us, Kenny Mac's warmth, generosity, and spirit of giving will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Rest easy, Kenny. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
