Obituary for Katherine Mary Clark

Calais – Katherine Mary Clark, 56, died Tuesday, August 08, 2006 at a Calais hospital surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with A.L.S. Katherine was born in St. Stephen, N.B. July 24, 1950, daughter of Carl and Geraldine (McAleenan) McShane. She married William Clark on January 11, 1969 in Milltown, N.B. Katherine was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Calais and enjoyed camping, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and living life to it’s fullest. She was predeceased by her father, Carl McShane, and a brother, Daniel McShane. Surviving are her loving husband of over 37 years, William Clark; her mother, Geraldine McShane of St. Stephen, N.B.; three children, Peter Clark and wife Angela of Calais, Patricia Wentworth and husband John of Durham, and Kirk Clark and friend Erin Donnell of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Nicole Clark and Zachary Wentworth; five sisters, Linda Babineau and husband Marcel, Bernadette O’Brien and husband Mark, Donna McShane, and Anna McShane, all of St. Stephen, N.B., and Kim Avery and husband Terry of Fredricton, N.B.; five brothers, Mark McShane and wife Carol, Jeff McShane and wife Krista, Joe McShane and wife Denise, and Gary McShane and wife Jane, all of St. Stephen, N.B., and Tim McShane of Fredericton, N.B.; many nieces and nephews; and a special thanks to her aunt, Sallie McShane.
