Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen Jean Ginn, who departed from us on April 16, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Karen was born into the loving arms of Ronald and Ferne (Cropley) Farnham on October 3, 1955, in New Brunswick, Canada. Her journey led her to Marshfield, ME, where she touched countless lives with her love, kindness, and grace. Karen always created a warm, welcoming haven that was much more than just a house. It was a home filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of belonging that radiated to all who crossed its threshold. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her two beloved sons, Joseph R. Ginn and his wife, Stacy, of Mars Hill, and David K. Ginn of East Machias. Her legacy also extends to her cherished grandchildren, Maximus Ginn of East Machias, and Colby and Kaitlyn Flagg of Steuben. Karen's brother, Gary Farnham, along with numerous family members and dear friends, will forever hold her memory dear. She was greeted in her journey to the other side by her husband of 40 years, Joseph N. Ginn, her parents, and her two brothers, Ronald L. Farnham and Dale N. Farnham. Karen's strength and resilience were remarkable, even in her final days. She was able to stay in her beloved home, thanks to the love and support of those around her, for which she was deeply grateful. Karen's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and community. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, her memory will bring us comfort, and her love will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Steuben Fire Department, 49 Smithville Rd., Steuben. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mays Funeral Home & Cremation Services. We invite you to share your memories, stories, and photos of Karen at www.MaysFuneralHome.com. Each shared memory is a tribute to her life, a testament to her impact, and a comfort to those she leaves behind.
