Harriet B Woods

Calais - Harriet B. Woods , 95, passed away peacefully January 25, 2006 at a Calais Hospital. She was born March 25, 1910 in Calais the daughter of Ernest & Edna (Perkins) Hill. Harriet worked for WT Grant Company in Calais for 20 years. She was a member of the Calais United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband James Woods and 4 sisters & their husbands. Surviving are two nieces, Katherine A.( Glidden) Berry of Robbinston. Olive (Glidden) Wojnowski of Uxbridge MA, nephews Cecil Wilson of Brewer and Earnest Barnes of Robbinston, .Many grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Friends may call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais and on Saturday from 1- 2 p.m. at which time a funeral service will take place. Burial will follow in Calais Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
