Calais – Harold Emmett Lee Jr., 79, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Down East Community Hospital. Harold was born on December 6, 1941, son of the late Harold Sr. and Rita (Ward) Lee.
After graduating from Shead Memorial High School, Class of 1960, Harold spent time working in Waltham, Everett and Malden, Massachusetts and Los Angeles, California before returning to Eastport and working for the Mearl Corporation and later, Walmart. On August 12, 1998, Harold married Joan (Hamilton) Frost. In his spare time Harold enjoyed working with electronics and using ham radios.
In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by a brother, Richmond and two brothers-in-law, Dale Lincoln and Tom Wydrzynski. Surviving are his wife, Joan; step children Dick Frost, David Frost, and Janet Frost all of Alexander; sisters, Elsie Lincoln of Perry and Sharon Munoztorres and husband Michael of Fayetteville, NC; nieces, Rita, Tara, Diana and Carol and nephews, Micah, Jeremiah and Dale II and several cousins, great nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home.
