Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gregory 'Greg' Alan Reardon, who left us on June 20, 2026, having been born on December 24, 1951. Known for his work ethic and love of the outdoors, Greg touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

Greg grew up in a close knit family, spending his childhood on the family farm, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family. He could often be found driving the tractor through the fields with his siblings, or spending time at Beaver Lake, creating memories that he cherished throughout his life. Greg graduated from Calais High School in 1970, not long after he began his career at Georgia Pacific where he dedicated over 40 years of his life working as a mason in the mill. His hard work and dedication to his craft was well respected by his colleagues and his retirement in 2018 was a well-earned rest after years of service.

In his leisure time, Greg relished in spending time with his beloved family. He didn't miss an opportunity to attend his grandchildren's activities and celebrations. He was a proud father and grandfather, supporting every step of the way. He was a familiar figure outdoors, often seen riding his side by side. He enjoyed trips to Trimble Mountain and stopping at Polar Treat. His love for his family and his zest for life brought joy to those around him.

Greg leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his sons, Joshua and Lucas Reardon, and daughters-in-law, Danielle and Kristen Reardon. His legacy continues with his grandchildren, Ashton, Mackenzie, Ava, and Ella Reardon. Greg is also survived by his sisters, Martha Pratt, Kathy Savage, and Nancy McPhee, as well as his brothers-in-law, Richard McPhee and Raymond Savage, and his brother, John Reardon. Greg is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Greg was predeceased by his father and mother, John and Mary Reardon, brother, Mark Reardon and brother-in-law, Jeff Pratt. His memory will continue to be a beacon of love and strength for all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will take place July 12th, 2026 from 1PM-3PM at the Calais Rod and Gun Club, 187 Charlotte RD, Charlotte ME.
