Obituary

Geraldine Ann Munn, a virtuous woman whose heart was filled with her love for God and service to others, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2025. Geraldine, born in Lincoln, Maine on August 25, 1945, to Linwood and Mary (Taylor) Tracy, lived a life that was a true testament to her unwavering faith and dedication to serving others. After graduating from Bangor High School in 1963, Geraldine attended the United Pentecostal Bible Institute, where she met the love of her life, Rev. Aussie Munn. The two were united in holy matrimony on July 6, 1964, and Geraldine wholeheartedly embraced her role as a pastor's wife. Her boundless compassion and inherent need to help those in need led her to a career in nursing. She earned her LPN in 1990 from Southern Maine Technical Institute and later her RN in 1996 from Northern Maine Community College. Geraldine brought her healing touch to several institutions including Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle, Ft. Kent Hospital, Atlantic Rehab in Calais, Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Missouri, and finally, Calais Regional Hospital. Geraldine is predeceased by her beloved husband, Rev. Aussie Munn, and two brothers, Galen and Linwood Tracy. Her spirit lives on in her surviving family members: her son, Rev. Dennis Munn and his wife Roxanne, of Attleboro, MA; her delightful granddaughter, Shannon Munn, and her great-granddaughter, Eloise Ryder, both living in Fredericton, NB; and her brother Gerald Tracy and his wife Sharon, of Old Town, ME. For them and for all who knew and loved her, Geraldine's life will be a beacon of faith, service, and love. A Homegoing Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 4, 2025, at The Refuge Church, 175 South Main St., Attleboro, MA. Burial will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Calais Cemetery, South St., Calais, ME. Arrangements are being handled by Mays Funeral Home & Cremation Services. We invite you to share your cherished memories, stories, and photos of Geraldine on her memorial page at www.MaysFuneralHome.com. In these shared recollections, may we find solace, celebrate Geraldine's wonderful life, and keep her memory alive.
