George Edward Long

Calais – George Edward Long, 73, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. George was born in New Brunswick, NJ on April 16, 1946, son of George and Florence (Hanson) Long. He graduated from University of Maryland and John Hopkins University with a Master’s Degree. While living in Baltimore, George worked in accounting. Later he worked as a retail manager.

George is survived by his cousins, Terry Bamford and Dale Morgan; and many other cousins and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Baring Cemetery, Route 1 in Baring. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
