He loved his children and always made sure they had everything they needed growing up.

In addition to his parents, Francis was predeceased by his son Christopher Eric Nicholas; and a brother, Jimmy Bohanon. Surviving are his children, Shawn Bohanon, Faye Socobasin, Louie Nicholas and wife Lorrie, and Bea Nicholas; nine grandchildren, Michael Bohanon, Whitney Roberts and wife Karissa, Laura Polches and husband Everett, Abigail Nicholas, John Socobasin, Nathaniel Nicholas, Shawn Bohanon, Francis Bohanon, and JoAnna Socobasin; two great-grandchildren, Faye and Everett; four sisters, Barbara Landry, Judy Fenlason and husband Gene, Shirley Dwelley, and Evelynn Corbett; a brother Monte Bohanon; many nieces and nephews; and numerous dear friends including Joe Troiani, Gene “Frenchie” Landry, and Bob Ferry.
