After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Frances Oliver found peace from her illness with incredible strength and grace, on June 19, 2025. Her passing was peaceful, while she was at home, surrounded by loved ones. Frances was born on March 24th, 1965, in Middletown CT, where she spent her early years. She moved to Washington County as a teenager and remained here to form deep roots and strong bonds within her community. She spent her adult years tending to her family, and caring for her children, and later, grandchildren – all of whom she cherished. Frances was always one of great spirit, and she was recently described as "feisty and funny". She loved her old-time cartoons, her mystery shows and 80's music. She is survived by her children, Natasha Fredette of Eastport, Kiela Highers of Eastport, Michael Perkins of Meddybemps, Miranda Moffett of Machiasport and Monica Moffett of Eastport, as well as her grandchildren Kiesha, Dana, Abigail, Logan, Kelsey, Brendon, Lily, Dominic, Lucas, Alayna, Brayden, Sophia, Jonnathan, and Christopher. All who will carry their memories of her forward with love. She will also be greatly missed by her dear friends Lil, Viv, Judy, Shannon, and Sara. Frances' strength, love, and flare for life will always be remembered as her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
