David Joseph Tinker II, 42, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Calais Community Hospital with family by his side.  David was born in Calais on March 24, 1980, son of David and Karen (McPhail) Tinker.

David was a fun-loving man, who would take the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.  He loved the outdoors and had a call for the ocean, spending as much time as he could on the water.  David was loved by many and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

David was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Marion McPhail, Mary Tinker, and Elma Francis; uncles Harry, Christopher, Thomas, Alexander, and Joe; aunts Linda, Jane, Pat, Irene, and Margaret; his Godfather Frederick Francis; and a cousin Thomas.  Surviving are his parents, David Tinker Sr. and Karen Tinker; his pride & joy, Jonathon Tinker; the love of his life Carolyn Tinker; step-children Timothy, Adam, and Amanda Olson; sister Lynn Page; brother-in-law Josh Page; aunts and uncles, John and Norman Tinker, Dennis and Lorraine Kinney, Gloria Von Atzingen, Mike and Lila Hamilton, Phyllis Ulness, Vivian Tinker, Dewey and Arleen Grant; Godmother Betty Lewey; and many cousins and friends who will miss him very much.
