Christopher Ryan Lewey, 38, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023.  Chris was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on June 23, 1985, son of Wallace and Nora (Socobie) Lewey. 

After attending school at Calais High School and Lee Academy, Chris ventured into the world working odd jobs until finding his talent as a carpenter.  He was an avid outdoorsman where he gained much of his inspiration when writing his own music.  Chris was a gifted artist, but his greatest passion were his children. 

Chris was predeceased by his mother, Nora Socobie; a son Miguel; and grandparents Athion and Mary Lewey.  Surviving are his father, Wallace Lewey of Indian Township; five children, Hayden Campbell of FL, Ryan Lewey of Baileyville, and Phenix, Dahlia, and Aurora Lewey, all of Indian Island; three sisters, Tammy Lewey of Tobique, NB, Mattea Lewey of Indian Township, and Allison Sappier of Tobique, NB; five brothers, Bobby Lewey of Tobique, NB, Frank Lewey of Tobique, NB, Charlie Socobie of Bangor, Mitchell Lewey of Indian Township, and Noah Lewey of Indian Township; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
