Catherine Nicole Howland, 53, passed away in Bangor on Friday, August 18, 2022. Catherine was born December 9, 1968, in Calais, Maine to Richard A. Howland and Edwina K. (Mahar) Howland.

She was predeceased by her father Richard A. Howland, her paternal grandparents Horace and Martena Howland, and maternal grandparents Edward and Dorothy Mahar. She was also predeceased by her beloved German shepherd, Ando, who was the light and joy of her life.

Catherine leaves behind her mother, Edwina K. Howland of St. Stephen, NB; brother Christopher of Baring, ME; sister Angela of Nashville, TN; and niece Nicole of Princeton, ME.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers- Catherine expressed hope that contributions be made to the animal shelter of one’s choice in memory and honor of her beloved Ando. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
