Carla Darleen Corbett

Baileyville – Carla Darleen (Moores) Corbett, 76, passed away at Calais Community Hospital on July 6, 2022 after a brief illness. Carla was born in Calais on February 2, 1946, daughter of Carleton and Eileen (Waycott) Moores.

After attending school, Carla married her high school sweetheart, Paul Corbett Sr. Carla raised their three children and also babysat many children over the years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, darts and was a member of the Spednic Club.

In addition to her parents, Carla was predeceased by her husband Paul Corbett Sr.; two sons, Paul Jr. and Marc; her in-laws Carroll and Phyllis Corbett; brother Mickey; and a granddaughter Allena. Carla is survived by her son Steven; grandchildren Danielle, Britney, Nick and companion Skyla, Carly and husband Bronson, and Samantha; ten great-grandchildren, Brielle, Brileigh, Braelyn, Noeah, Raeghan, Madelynn, Claire, Mia, Connor and Aurora; brother-in-law Lloyd and sister-in-law and dear friend Gloria; sister-in-law Carolyn Bennett; dear friend Jean Neddeau; special nieces Vicki and Suzette; her feline companion Mickey; and many nieces, nephews and friends, especially her “Golden Girls”.

A graveside service will be held 12 noon Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery, Ryan Road, Baileyville, with a gathering to follow at the Spednic Club. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
