Carl Neville McCoubrey, 53, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Carl was born in Calais on January 11, 1971, son of the late George and Patricia (Smith) McCoubrey.

Carl attended Calais High School and for a time, he sought adventure and new experiences in Virginia, until returning to his roots in Calais where he worked at the Texaco station in Milltown and the Calais Cemetery.

Surviving are his sister, Sherri Reynolds and husband Robert of Calais; his brother William McCoubrey and wife Karen of New Hartford, CT; two nieces, Ashley and Emily; two nephews, Liam and Kian; and aunts and uncles, Rebecca Stanhope, Susan and Richard Dooley, KumCha McCoubrey, Lee and Ning McCoubrey, and Linda McCoubrey.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Calais Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home.
