Calais – Brianna Raye Barnard-Newell, 2 months and 15 days, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 6, 2016. Brianna was born in Calais on March 22, 2016, the daughter of Daniel Barnard Jr. and Felicia Newell.

Surviving are her parents Daniel Barnard Jr. and Felicia Newell of Calais; sister Kaidence and brother Jeremiah; paternal grandparents Amy Barnard of Ellenton, FL, and Daniel Barnard Sr. and wife Eleta of Calais; maternal grandparents Kelly Newell of Baileyillve and Wayne Newell of Houlton; great-grandmothers, Jean Pike of Calais, Rose Corbett of Machias and Ruth Lyons of Calais; aunts and uncles, Ericka and Alvin Marshall of Calais, Tanika Newell of Brunswick, Amanda Barndard of Calais, Zachery Tracy of Baileyville and Matthew and Emily Smith of Bangor; cousins Madyson, Riley, Breyhlan, Rhyden, Taelynne, Kerri, Joshua, and Riley Smith; and “uncles” Nigel White and companion Micheala Girrard of Machias, and Robbie Poole and companion Charity Williams of Calais.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Calais Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
