Bonnie Bothwick Moore, 76, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Marshall Healthcare in Machias.  Born December 24, 1946, she was the only child of Joseph and Margaret (Russell) Bothwick who predeceased her.

Bonnie graduated from Calais Memorial High School in the Class of 1965, where she was a popular and bright student, always on the honor roll.  Involved in many extracurricular activities at school, she formed close friendships with several of her classmates.  After graduation she attended nursing school in Boston until she was diagnosed with a debilitating mental health illness.  She returned to Calais where she worked for a short time in her father’s insurance agency.  In 1978 Bonnie married Robert Moore of Augusta.  The couple lived in Ocean Point, Maine until they divorced, and Bonnie returned to Calais and then Machias.
