Beth Pullen, a woman of remarkable strength, resilience, and deep devotion to her family, passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer. She was 78.
Born on October 3, 1947, in Grand Lake Stream, Beth lived a life defined by perseverance, love, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear. She faced life's challenges with quiet strength and dignity.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Pullen. Also predeceased by her parents George "Sonny" and Edith Sprague, her twin sister and best friend Bonnie Gagner, Parents-in-law Arlene Pullen and Donald and Lucy Myler, Brothers-in-law Jack Myler and George Morin, a niece Kim Zanks, and great nephew Jackson Palmer.
Above all else, Beth was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her two daughters were the center of her world, and she took immense pride and joy in her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest accomplishment, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Beth spent her life as a hairdresser and in her later years was a substitute teacher and cleaned cabins at the family campground and sewed at Keepsakes where she met many lifelong friends and new family members.
Those who knew her will remember her for her resilience, her warmth, and her ability to endure hardship while still offering love and support to others. She had a quiet strength that inspired everyone around her, and her legacy will live on through the family she nurtured so deeply.
She is survived by her two daughters Marlene Greenlaw and her husband David and Michelle Barnard and her husband David. Her five grandchildren Bethany Feeney and her husband Chad, David Barnard and his wife Hailey, Megan Reed and her husband Seth, Patrick Barnard, and Lauren Holmes and her husband Matthew. Her five great-grandchildren David and Reagan Reed, Sonny Holmes, Bennett Barnard, and Chad "CJ" Feeney. The father of her children Patrick Myler and wife May. Her uncle Sam and his wife Nancy Sprague. Her brother–in–law Robert Gagner and his children Robbie and Billy Gagner. She is also survived by her sisters–in–law Barbara Zanks, Jody Pullen Breton, and the Myler Family: David, Marilyn, Loretta, Donna, Gary, Debbie, and Donald Jr. and many nieces and nephews who were a special part of her life.
A memorial service for Beth and her twin sister Bonnie will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Grand Lake Stream Cemetery. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
