Sipayik - Bennett Stanley, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Bennett was born in Hartford, Connecticut on January 27, 1965, son of John A. and Bertha (Snow) Stanley. Bennett loved listening to music, a fan of loud, heavy-metal bands. He enjoyed sports and never missed a game; his favorite team was the 49ers. He was also an avid sports card collector and video game enthusiast. His elaborate Christmas light display will be especially missed by family, friends and community. Bennett was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Daniel and Maynard, and his nieces Carol Lee, Ivy and nephew Bert, and godmother Ann; he is survived by his siblings, Marie, Carol, John, Maxwell, Phillip, Sarah, Linda, and Brian; many nieces, nephews, his godfather Tony and close friends, Bun Bun, Tony, Willy, and best friend Patty. Visitation will begin 12 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 until 11 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2026 at Phillip Stanley's residence, 9 Elders Way, Pleasant Point. Following the visitation on Monday, burial will take place in the Pleasant Point Tribal Cemetery.
