Anne Marie Brown, 69, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.  Anne Marie was born in Amsterdam, Holland, on May 5, 1954, daughter of Gerard and Caroline (Dekoff) Gerlach. 

Anne Marie graduated from Wayland High School in Wayland, MA, Class of 1973.  She worked for many years as a dishwasher for several restaurants in Massachusetts.  Anne Marie lived throughout the United States such as California, Massachusetts, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, and in 1996, settled in Maine.  She liked to go dancing, listening to rock music, and playing the drums and guitar.  Anne Marie enjoyed visiting the Beckett Center in Calais and also participated  in the Special Olympics.  Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her son Jeffrey.

Anne Marie was predeceased by her parents Gerard and Caroline Gerlach.  Surviving are her son Jeffrey Brown of Oviedo, FL; her granddaughter Rylie Brown of Oviedo, FL; sister Jane Baldwin and husband William of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Peter Gerlach and wife Gigi of Sedro-Woolley, WA, and Michael Gerlach of CA; and her nieces and nephews, Crystal, Matthew, Christian, Chad, David, Christopher, and Michelle.
