January 19, 2000 – January 12, 2022

Lubec—On January 12, 2022, Andrew J. Locke , 21, made his final move to God’s garden. Andrew was born January 19, 2000 to Crystal Locke and Wade Murray.

Although Andrew was here for such a short time, he touched many hearts with his kind, gentle ways and a very contagious smile. Andrew was a friend to everyone and did whatever he could to make their day seem better. He loved to work on his four -wheeler and anything else that needed to be fixed. He worked at whatever job he could that would yield him a few dollars. Andrew worked very hard to keep his “demons” at bay and was finally succeeding in his goal of putting his life on the right track.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Crystal and Wade of Lubec, brother Scott of Lubec, grandmother Kathy of Lubec, grandfather’s “Papa John” and John, Uncles Chad, Nick, Mike and Jacob, Aunt Leah, several cousins and great Aunts and Uncles.

Broken Chain

We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly; In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
