Alden Leroy Bacon

Baileyville – Alden Leroy Bacon, 80, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. Alden was born in Baileyville on September 17, 1941, son of Malcolm and Dorothy (Sevigny) Bacon.

Alden attended Woodland High School and started working at the papermill, a career that spanned over 25 years. He played baseball throughout high school and in his younger years. Alden was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and riding the trails, as well as playing a few hands of poker or cribbage. He was a member of the Princeton Rod & Gun Club, Tomah Country Trail Riders, and the Spednic Club.

In addition to his parents Malcolm and Dorothy Bacon, Alden was predeceased by his sister Donna Myers. Surviving are his companion Karen Hold; four children, Benai Parks and companion Mike Bithers, Brandi Seelye, Buffi Bacon, and Brandon “Mac” Bacon and companion Christina Roussel, all of Baileyville; seven grandchildren, Annastasia Parks of South Korea, Chynna Parks of Portland, Kaleb Bacon and companion Mercedes McCoy of Baileyville, Brent Carlow and companion Nicole Elmore of Baileyville, Tianna Bacon of Alexander, Alden Bacon of Baileyville, and Cadence Roussel of Baileyville; three great-grandchildren, Vaida Bacon, Kaleb Bacon Jr., and Ansleigh McLaughlin; nieces and nephews, Vickie and Kevin Hunter of Florida, and Butch and Susan Myers of Milford; and numerous dear friends and family too numerous to mention.

In keeping with Alden’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
