Adrien L.
Stevens-Roberts
Jan 3, 1973 — Jul 18, 2026
Franklin
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adrien Lee Stevens-Roberts, age 53, who departed this world on July 18, 2026, at a Bangor hospital, in the arms of her loving fiance, Franklin Norris Jr. Adrien was born on January 3, 1973, in Waterville, Maine, to John and Susan (MacCulloch) Stevens, and she embraced life with a vibrant spirit that touched everyone she met.
A proud graduate of Kents Hill School's Class of 1991, Adrien went on to pursue further education at Newberry College in Boston, opening her horizons and shape her future. In her pursuit of adventure and family, she made the beautiful Bahamas her home, where she lovingly raised her two sons, Bronson and Lance. Eventually, Adrien returned to her roots in Maine, where she dedicated herself to her work as a medical assistant at Down East Health Center Family Practice, and most recently served as a cheerful hostess at the Jordan Pond House in Acadia National Park. Her warmth, compassion, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed.
Adrien found joy in many aspects of life-traveling, immersing herself in all genres of alternative music, and getting lost in the pages of a good book. In March 2025, she met Franklin Norris Jr., the love of her life, who brought her boundless joy and companionship.
In addition to her parents, Adrien is predeceased by her beloved sister, Ann Socobasin; and a nephew Christopher Francis. She is survived by her devoted fiancé, Frank Norris of Franklin, ME; her two cherished sons, Bronson Roberts and his fiancé Sasha, and Lance Roberts, all from the Bahamas; as well as her two delightful grandchildren, Miles and Violet Roberts. She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Bernadette Francis and her husband Gene of Pleasant Point, ME, Elona Muwin of Indian Township, ME, and Jake Lola of Indian Township, ME; special cousins Stephanie Bailey and her husband Chad Sockabasin, and Tiffany Socoby of Indian Township, ME; her dear friends Mo and Tina; and her feline companion, Gracie. Adrien leaves behind a tapestry of love, woven with the threads of her nieces and nephews, Madeline Socobasin, John Socobasin, Roger Socobasin, Joseph Socobasin, Shawn Socoby, and Zoe Francis, and many cousins and friends whose lives she touched.
Rest in peace, Adrien. Your spirit will forever illuminate our hearts.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating the remarkable life of Adrien. Funeral services will be held at a date to be determined, with details to be announced. Together, we will honor her memory and the profound impact she had on all our lives. In this time of sorrow, let us gather to share our stories and the love we hold for this incredible woman.
